when to pick& cake fell down couldnt get up

With the PFstrain I understand that the the more mature they become,
the less potent. What's the indicator of when to "pick"?
Also PF said this about this strain: "The PF shroom is the
champ at aborting shrooms also". How will I know? They just stop? Then what?
Do they start shrivellig up. I can see if they are small and stop but what if
the pin is like an 1 1/2 inches tall. Are they any pics of the stages I can look at.
I always see either the cakes with primordia or fully mature shrooms in pics.
I guess I'll find out in the next couple of days. Also I accidently tipped over
2 cakes onto the perlite that has Hydrogen peroxide in the water. I used
a sterile forcep to pick off the perlite that stuck to the big pins.. waaaaahhh..
they have little blue spots on them now. Is this the beginning of the end with
those?

I'm a relative newbie, but I think you'll be fine. The blue is it's reaction to bruising from what I hear . . .

Around the time the veil is tearing away the shroom stops producing psilocybin, so after that its basicly getting fat off your substrate. You'll end up with more psylocybin (and flushes) in the end if you pick em before the cap opens (with the exception of a couple old guys for sporeprints)

Abhorts will start off as normal looking pins, then their cap will start to shrivel slightly and turn to dark brown/black. You will definately be able to notice the difference. Also they won't grow, they'll just sit there at the same size until they start to mold so its best to get them off of your cake after every flush.

Tired of pimping yourself on the corner to afford spores? Well throw out that red dress and go to the FSR, for spores even you can afford.

I agree with everyone else. But I pull the abhorts as soon as I see them. And they are hard to miss. To me, they just look like little babies that died of sids, everything was fine and then they didn't wake up that day.

*And I have NO idea what that potency issue is... REEALLY...
