Its going to be serious. I will be there. I hope all those who dislike whats going on will also be there. Show ur support which ever side that may be. I might be working a traveling kitchen if my friends show up. So yall wont go hungry.

That's awesome, Sheik! I will be there in spirit with my "Lick Bush, Beat Dick" sign and Dennis Kucinich t-shirt. It should be verrrrrrrry interesting. You will be cordoned off to a little pen where the media will conveniently ignore you, so make a lot of noise to the convention goers!  You are awesome for doing this.

I heard about this site this morning on NPR:

There's folks offering places to stay and all sorts of good ideas. The regular convention is having all these volunteers to help delegates: give em directions, where's the best pizza, etc. Then there are counterconvention folks who plan to don the same shirts but give out bogus information:
Q: Where's madison square garden?
A: Take the H train to the bla bla (There is no h train)

Well then those lazy ants are messing things up for the rest of us. What I think we need is some way to make Voteing and selection not such a burdon. It takes a lot of time and effert trying to keep the "facts" straight. There should be some people dedicated out there to delivering easy to understand information to those who dont have time nor care to look into things on there own. Each election they should make a book called voting for dummies.

It's my understanding that they are expecting well over 500,000 protesters for the RNC. No matter what type of "free speech zones" are setup it will be impossible for them to control a crowd that large. I have a bad feeling that things may get out of hand but it will be impressive if over a 1/2 million people show up in the streets of New York to voice their dissatisfaction with the Bush administration. Might make some of those people that are riding the fence across the country perk up and ask "why are so many people pissed at Bush."
Wish I could make it, but for those that are going, please keep it Peaceful, we don't need another WTO Seattle type anarchistic protest.

i was in a riot once in OSU after they wond a football game, it was fucking insane...police were shooting tear gas and rubber bullets, people we lighting cars on fire and throwing bottles at cops...i inhaled tear gas...it fucking sucked, such a terrible feeling...i felt sick for days after...my friend got hit with a rubber bullet, left quite a welt...so be safe and when the shooting starts, RUN
