Ram Dass suggested that if a revolution like one in the 60s is to occur again it must be a velvet revolution.

meaning one of peace and compassion where the enemy is embraced not shunned.

egos fightin egos doesn't get anywhere.

It's totally expected that you would hate/not understand rioters and protesters, even back to the 60's(martin luther king, civil rights battles/protests) these were against the man, some resulted in violence from both side, some more brutal towards human life...

They busted out a police museum anyways, so yes it was directed at THE MAN.

I don't remember hearing about Martin Luther King busting out windows and setting things of fire.

no, not at all. he suggested adopting a lifestyle that is contrary to the mainstream but does not actively go against the mainstream.

revolution is doing your own thing based on your own standards

rebellion is going against the norm and doing what it says not to.

revolution not rebellion he suggests.

I hope anyone who destroyed private citizens property out of personal belief has the personal belief of a bullet implanted straight in their fucking skull.

Fuck these anarchists they offer no solution but disdain for their enemy. I spit on their right to live. They want to fight the system than bitch when it fights back.

I'd feel more compassion seeing a dog get hit by a car.

If they want a revolution it's time to man up and fight one like revolutionary not hide behind the system they want to destroy. Revolutionaries get violent with the source not what reminds them of it.

These are misled children not revolutionaries and they are better off being brutally murdered as a statement to any groups that want to pull this shit and put private citizens at risk.

Just so we sum this up.. I hope anyone who did so much as break a window gets fucking gutted.

Brah..

OK...can anyone of you guys supporting these protests (Somebody was there I believe) logically explain to me what you are protesting against at the G-20 meeting?

And about the idiots smashing windows and burning cars...what are they going to solve? What do they expect is going to happen? It just seems like they have no idea where they are and are just rioting 'cause it's the hip thing to do.

Well see pris...the reason people have protests in public is so other PEOPLE can witness it, thus, the whole point of it in the first place

Quote:

Fuck man...people aren't just as simple as "hippies" fighting the man.

no, it's pretty much just a bunch of neo-hippies and gutter punks trying
to cause problems and using the excuse of 'fighting the man' to explain

True Criminals don't protest...and im pretty sure they didn't come just to cause problems with the public...my god you have a distorted vision of these people
if I see a protestor, I'm more than happy 'give him my ear', if I see
some tool throwing moltov cocktails through windows and shit, I'm more
likely to give him a broken leg

They were aimed at police vehicles and buildings...and you have to have an ear to hear in the first place.
Quote:

Riots happen, this is a world of unlimited reactions. Anarchy(in some form) happens in every civilization, and it's ultimately good for the hope of liberty.

this isnt anarchy, this is criminal behavior,

Criminal behavior is a big category...that defines obstruction to law, government, and society...anarchy falls into Criminal behavior obviously...but That is why I called it ANARCHY in the first place, its not directed at the people.

anarchy doesnt mean
firebomb susies clothing store or bust the windows out of mom & pop
grocery store, Yea...since this happens ALL the time in protests

You are thinking of a riot, where the goal is not so much political rather material. But I agree, there is a strong hate for capitalism that goes into these protests, but I don't blame them.

They busted out a police museum anyways, so yes it was directed at THE MAN.

so in actuality is was a bunch of self centered little yuppie larva

weren't happy having all of daddy's money to waste trying to fight the
imaginary oppression and capitalism

So youre saying that these people are all rich that are protesting?

Pris...You sound like an arrogant and violent police officer.

And you display that same hate that was given to the "hippies" back in the sixties, there is no reason to hate something that does not harm you, unless you are an insane sadist, that has a weak and inflated ego. The same hate and violence was given to the native Americans of our country...Why do you think the peace protesters and flower children were greeted with so much hate? When greed and blindness is met by a force that magnetically pushes it in the opposite direction, people get mad, or people will take advantage of the innocent...a lot of you are walking around like a bunch of ravening carnivorous animals. / end rant

I really don't understand your reasoning here. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but you seem to be saying it's OK for people to fuck up public property, and no one has the right to be mad because it doesn't belong to them.

Am I misunderstanding you, because that doesn't make any sense what so ever.
