Psilocybe azurescens ??

hey i know theres about a 2 % chance of this being anything.. but i dont really know anything.. but theres so many of these id rather be safe than sorry. i promise theyre not berries this time hah..

these were dark brown one day and day 2 they looked like this. the stems are hollow and i cannot get it to stain any colors . id like to know this species even if not active. thanks you guys for helping a newb and im sorry if my questions get under your skin hah

No they arent solitary, they grow in big amounts

They are not Psilocybe azurescens.
Take a spore print; it is nearly impossible to positively ID a little brown mushroom with out knowing what color the spores are.

Looks like a Psathyrella or something.

Defiently not active/edible. Nice picture though!

What was it growing from?

I doubt they are Dunce Caps (Conocybe lactea). The caps aren't conic enough and I've never seen them with the molted color like yours have.

I think Angry got it. Looks like some sort of Psathyrella and the habitat would suggest the same.
But yeah, no where close to Azurescens.
