IQ doubling due to a psychedelic sounds like nothing more than a drug myth.

Psychedelics, I have found, can however bring upon...
1) Increased ability to question everything in life, even things formerly held to be givens.
2) Increased empathy
3) Greater understanding of self
4) Increased ability to prioritize my life through understanding what is important to me
5) New perspectives on the world

i can agree with all of that but personally it has made me think so much more....everything to me is more detailed. sometimes i catch myself staring at a blade of grass or a cloud or something and just thinking about what it is...why it is, etc....sometimes it gets really odd but its always in good fun......i dont think ill ever regret doing acid. as for doubling iq....that sounds false to me. it makes me feel smarter but im no doubt just as stupid as i usually am when on acid

also, this is kinda a con for me in certain ways: after having done acid sometimes i have trouble wording my thoughts into sentences that actually make sense...sometimes i just say my thoughts and they come out like a madman's ramble...at least it all makes sense to me ;)

About that kid who nearly doubled his IQ...
He told my friend that he scored 147 on an IQ test,but before he began using acid he only scored in the 80's range.

80's range? From what I remember about IQ#'s 80's are in the severely mentally retarded range. I seriously doubt that he went from 80's to 147, 146+ is genius, (depending on test/scale of course). Have him take the MENSA test, find out what percentile he falls into, their test is very consistent. http://www.mensa.org/
If you fall into the top 2% they give you a cool sticker you can put on your vehicle that says MENSA.

80s range is severly retarded? I wouldnt go that far.Id say 80's range is a little under average.The 60's range is severly retarded.

hehe i took the mensa workout just for the hell of it

its 4 in the morning now and i scored high enough that it said I had a good chance at passing the test and I didnt even answer all the questions because some of them would just take to long to figure out.

i know im tired as fuck and prolly did extremely different then I would have done if I was in my right mind.

I thought it might be fun for someone to try it sober and try it tripping. However the questions always remain the same. Does anyone know of a site where they at least rotate through a couple tests with different questions so you wouldn't end up with the same questions and have the possibility of remembering the answers?

I think that would be a lot of fun for people to try on a moderate trip.
