Where did my PM's go?

Hello any site admin out there
I haven't logged into my shroomery name for a long time. I just logged in now and it said I had 8 new PM's...except then there are no PM's in my inbox, not even the old ones that I had in there.

Have they been deleted? Can I get them back?

PM's expire after a few months. The error of "8 new PM's" is caused by a server problem long ago.
