This is a tattoo design I have been working on. I am looking for input and comments.



Are there any tattoo artists on here from North central Texas?

gotta keep the Eyes of Horus, they're very symbolic.

It is cool how interested you are in Egyptian symbols, I can only remember some of them. The design has quite a lot of them stuffed in there, and is overall an ankh.

jeez, I can't think of anything to add. In the very top I see faint lines that look like sun rays out from the ball that the scarab is holding. are you including those?

The rays of the sun are on the original, They are light to indicate an unlined color. They start at the ball and end at the edge of the ankh.

There is a lot of symbolism in it. The intent was to have it put on my right leg starting at the waist line. There are other plans for my back :wink:

It needs to have more flow to it. It looks to straight and edgy to me, I think it would look better 'graffitified' abit.

absolutely, and not even necessarily graffitied, but do something to it to tie different parts of the tattoo together so it doesnt look so much like a 'cookie cutter' design

btw im a major egyptian fan  :thumbup: when i was young i devoted all of my artwork to egyptian styles ... i even made a chessboard using an egyptian style, with the chess pieces being characters from the mythology of ancient egypt, etc

Didn't I see this design on here before...but it was drawn different I think? I like it, but it needs some "swing" or style to it. It's still pretty basic.

i like how its laid out, but its too plain... i think if you made it tattoo styled... all PHAT, then it would be badass. but yea... you gotta keep the eyes
