What's the most rare, disgusting disease you ever heard of?

I get to do a project for school on a disease or illness of my choice and I'd like it to be some disgusting fungal thing but a tapeworm or something like that might be cool. It can be anything that affects humans! Any ideas?

Every now an then someone gets a flesh eating bacteria...usually a fisherman....I had a friend that lost a big part of his muscle below his thigh ...very disgusting being eaten alive

The most discustingest disease is genital warts.

Ringworm is lame, it's just hard to get rid of and could take a spot of hair out of your scalp for a while.

A tape worm is also lame, but very groaty.

Leprecy is a good idea to study! Small pox isn't gross, just ugly and I don't even know what spinal meningitis is like.

Flesh eating bactera is scary. Gang green and anthrax are right up that ally.

Ebola is BAD.

The nastiest parasite is when someone gets fly maggots in thier shit, that's my personal oppionion. It usually happens when a fly lays it's eggs in an open or puss filled (I almost made a typo and wrote pussy, LoL) wound. It's usually the smell of infection which attracts the flies.

My cousin's uncle (no relation to me, thank god) got a cut on his knee which became infected. He really was an evil man, but anyways, some flies laid maggots in his knee and he refused to get treatment till his whole knee was really nasty.

He ended up dying of aids. It is a wonder his wife didn't contract it.
