Hey me too! I'm gonna have to get a job as soon as I move off to my new apartment though (one week before class starts).. that way I'll be able to afford things besides ramen noodles.
Are you going into Philosophy Ellemy? I think I remember you mentioning something about that..

I'm still not sure at this point (I'd like to take a few Philosophy classes first) but it's definately something I am thinking about. I'm even thinking about Entheobotany (hehe). I'm going to give myself a good window of time before I decide for sure. What are you going to major in?

Everyone always asks me that. To be honest, I'm not too concerned about finding a job that caters to a Philosophy major. In fact, it hardly matters at all to me. I want to go to college for the knowledge, to learn and better myself. I'll take whichever path my heart leads me to, even if "society" doesn't give me a good payday for it.
In this city, most jobs don't care what you major in, only that you have a degree. Part of the reason I want a degree is because I am writing a novel and a degree would look good to a agent or publisher. Philosophy is just a bonus, if I decide to major in that. My husband (who supports me) has even encouraged me to take Philosophy so that we can learn and help one another.
Maybe it's not the most "acceptable" way of doing things, but when have I ever cared about that??
love,
*me*

I'm enrolled in the "College of Business" at my school, but I really don't even have an interest in business.. It's ok though, I'm taking a really cool first semester, since I didn't make it in time for the math and english classes to still have open seats
First semester line-up as of right now: Intro to Anthropology World Civilizations II Music of People: The World Intro to Political Science
seems to me that I'd be better off with a bit of a different major, judging by the classes I picked.

I hate admitting to it, but I'm an accountant. Actually, I fuck around online all day while I pretend to look at pages full of numbers and nobody realizes it.
I also "work" at AM/PM at nights, but all I do is get stoned and stand around eating hot dogs.
