There is a cooking forum over at

www.usefuckinggoogle.com

But yet we have one here. Its about the most useless non drug related forum on this site.

At least a health forum has harm reductin benefits. Cooking has nothing except how to cook canabutter and how not to burn toast.

I spoke briefly with Suffer the other night in chat about this very topic and we both thought it might serve the site well to combine this Health & Fitness forum request with our current Support Group Central forum. As it stands, the SGC forum seems to take a negative tone in the long run (not necessarily a bad thing though it is trying on the mods who deal with it day to day), and it is suspected that the addition of Physical Health questions may aid in adding balance to the forum.

The resulting combination may be retitled as "Physical & Mental Health" to encompass both the mental support that it currently provides to distressed persons seeking advice or just a person who will listen, as well as persons who wish to live a healthier lifestyle physically, be it through diet control, exercise, or other activities.

What does everyone think about this idea?

well i have never used SGC, so i have no problem with the idea. as long as SGC peeps have no problem with it then change it up...id also like to be considered fo a mod position... :smirk:

I don't think people expressing themselves on one end of the spectrum would be encouraged to express themselves amongst people on the other end.

Better to combine Culinary Arts with Health & Fitness in my opinion

The food forum is just as usfull as a fittness forum, and the two could easyerly be combined, as it isnt exactly a busy forum.
