I couldn't upload due to an external issue, I have not abandoned the war.
My 3 Poo Cakes are toast, suspect my manure being a little too hot.
My 3 BRF Tidal Wave Half pint jars are slowly going, they are around 40% Inoculated. They got knocked quite a bit during prep and cook so they got packed together.



A new pressure cooker came a couple of days after I joined in, so I knocked up 2 250ml tubs of BRF with agar wedges from one of my healthiest looking T2 TW plates.
I made sure to not compact it and sifted my vermiculite before adding it so there are more air pockets within.
Yesterday they came out of the dunk and were both rolled and placed in my sgfc and conditions seem good:)

Koh Samui in the process of making a very photogenic cake.



Gotta say, trying with glass containers, I was not happy by how much a pain in the ass it was to remove them. I feel like they slide out easier from the tall half pints versus the squat ones.

That being said, I think plastic is the way to go.

I used cronicr's Dollar store containers, but those warp too easily and take a bit too long. My favorite new container, which is the one the Koh Samui cake used, was this

I get them at a restaurant bulk depo. They have smaller ones that might be better even.

A bit pricier than the dollarama ones, but they keep their shape better, don't seem to have issues with contams getting in through gaps, and since its malleable plastic, you can pop the cake out easily, or even open up an area that might be glued stuck to allow easier colonization.

I make 5 holes, and bam.
