What is the threshold for what we describe as tripping?

If someone takes a microdose of shrooms, do we still consider that as tripping

Or do we consider tripping to be when certain effects take place like visual distortions and whatnot?

Im curious to know what yall think

Ive taken some microdoses and went to the gym and have gotten killer workouts in, and Im wondering if yall would consider that "tripping"

If you have ever tripped you would know the difference. Perceptual changes would be what I would consider tripping.

ive taken microdoses that caused me to have morphing visuals. at that point, or the point at which i begin to have noticeably weird thoughts (weirder than usual, anyway) i would call that tripping. microdosing is supposed to not really be that noticeable.
