Some of my favorite projects have been from failure, or something I was already finished with.  The gift that keeps on giving!  Those look great... Nate... phatty caps falling over... BOOM... nailed it!

It's the first time I'm trying outdoor also with ingeli 😅, I dug a cake with a tray into the ground and sprinkled it with wet soil and covered everything with grass, does it look promising?

Finally have this pinning from more than one spot and immediately aborting like it was inside for four months. Outdoors in a trash can used for compost and covered in a thin layer of soil.

Special thanks to Churpee, Phenodreamers, Skyfox and everyone else who contributed on this thread. This weekend is the first chance I got to chill in a bit so I have decided to test these out. My genetics are sporeless/sterile but hopefully still pack a nice buzz for what I took

I was short on Verm, it's in there, but it's not the normal 50/50 mix that's for sure.  The Pans didn't mind it either.

Ingeli surface left, middle, and right, she's UH revvin' up a bit, let's see what she can do.

I had most success without casing. But did use vermiculite in coir . 1 block coir to 8 cups vermiculite. Slightly wetter than j would use for cubensis. Straight into fruiting after spawn at 1:4

Edit. My initial grow i let colonize first before putting into fruiting. Subsequently I learned they do better going into fruiting immediately in my environment. My observations were that they didn't like to pin on a heavily colonized surface. This also allowed me to go wetter on the substrate cos they would have fresh air instantly and then didn't need to do anything until pins were more mature with regards to watering substrate. Obviously you must be confident your spawn/culture is clean to go wetter. I went up to 4.2lt of water in a 650g brick. 3.6-3.8lt being my normal for cubensis.

They were pretty decent. It was a very intense euphoric buzz that lasted for around 5-6 hours and had a lot of closed eye visuals. Next time I go mushroom hunting during this season I'm planning to try taking more.

It was your posts and Churpes that made me just place the tubs outside, I was lucky and had a windy spot where they could stay wet during the summer.

They tend to push on the closed eye more than the open eye for me too.

Same here. No open eye patterns or hallucinations. No wild ups and downs. They had a lot of power, but more power like a diesel engine, when I like two stroke gas engines, if you know what I mean. I have the same thing with subtrops. They pack a huge punch, but it's really steady, really 'safe'.

I love these shrooms, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather grab some pan cyans and go through the entire carnaval ride.

Starting the outdoor process this weekend. Anyone tried popcorn for spawn?

Reason i ask is I tried sorghum alone and was slow. Millet alone and was slow. Sorghum/Millet mix was slow but wild bird seed was rapid. So I suspect the corn was the difference.

Corn is a lower sugar grain so many causes quicker growth in search of nutes and is fairly big for its size.

Think potato has less than corn
