Friday was cool.    I took 200ug.  And played the psychological thriller game(until dawn) for most the night.

I knew there was  a chance that that might not be a great combination. But I figured if things started to fill negative or influenced in the wrong direction I could just turn it off and go outside for a little bit until it leveled back out.

However,

it ended up being fucking awesome and I had a wonderful time being completely immersed in that game/movie with a really good sound system and subwoofer adding to the  ambiance.

It was more like watching a psychological thriller movie that i  happen to be in control of. Making decisions thst affect the stroy line and outcome of the game.

Deciding to save or kill.

Yeah, it's been a while since I last saw Fiddle, and even longer since I've seen Mateja.

I figure they're doing alright too — in the end, everything in life comes in cycles.

I'm really grateful to Mateja because he managed to give me a huge boost of motivation when I was getting back into growing.

It was, and I'm not complaining. Just feel very exhausted. Sore muscles. Slightly blurred speech. Great afterglow.

The best part is, we had a damn good time already, but also tripped on freshly harvested wild shrooms and G junonius is on water agar at this very moment. So happy.

Skrimp, you ever met our very own Mistress of Pans, by any chance?

Churp, a weekend of sex and tripping sounds better than any plan I could come up with right now. I feel a healthy sense of envy... I miss the wild beaches up north, cooking over a campfire, and walking around naked all day.

Rest up those lower back muscles... :smile2:

I confess I like joy, but not euphoria... And in the city where I live, the festival started last Saturday and will last until next Sunday — it's the tradition for the end of the grape harvest.

We are the largest wine producer in the country here — just imagine the level of getting wasted these days. Obviously I have to perform on the street and it gets tough for me to deal with all these euphoric, overstimulated people...

Off to work I go, wish me patience. :rolleyes:

Gymnopilus dawg! They are active but apparently not super potent. Supposed to have them where I live but I've yet to come across one. That reminds me, I should go check my matsutake spots 🤤

I wonder if the laxkin potency is from the lack of human intervention like cubes being messed with the most n the other more common varietys all seem fairly strong

The genus Gymnopilus contains several species that produce psilocin / psilocybin. They are very bitter and have very low alkaloid content; so in itself not something extremely interesting. They taste very gross.

However

They also contain kavalactone-like substances, so the trip (or so I'm told) is actually different. This species does not contain psilocybin, but it does contain the other substances. So this would be a great 'what's the diff' candidate.

I am one of those people that go all-out for a new 'false peyote', any weird morning glory, Inocybe aeruginascens / TMT-psilo, anything odd really. I normally keep quiet about it because most of those people are annoying as fuck ("I have discovered a new way of tripping! Mix it with toothpaste and trust my trip reports that say it's better than acid!!" Etc). But yeah. It is a mushroom doing something most of our mushrooms don't.

Also I thought Gymn luteus was very pretty. So yeah. I've also seriously thought about growing non-active bell-capped Panaeolus, just because they are so pretty. Sucks that every petri dish is occupied atm.

Purpuratus is such a sexy gymn too, maybe I should try and run some. Cortinarius Iodes is prolly one of my fave mushrooms to see out on a trail.

I forgot about my LC jars that I had initially started in a diy bioreactor. I tossed the contaminated ones, but just put the ones that looked fine on a shelf.

I confess that after years of telling myself and others I wouldn't grow indoors (because I live off grid with sub-optimal growing conditions, wood stove/no thermostat, and because of all the waste and short-cycle rotations.  outdoor woodlovers have been the focus)...

I'm helping a friend, we got one of these ridiculously marketed, outrageously overpriced, glorified noob-trap, tents.


but ONLY because it was found locally, used, for $50. 

and he wants to have a tent in the extra room that stays at 70degrees F, and i'm addicted to trying new species and I miss my love, pan bisporus. 

we got a cloudforge T7 for it, mostly because of TreeFrog's words, but she's not here these days.


but that thing pumps out the fog like nothing i've ever seen, so the starting point of 15min on/15min off is waay off, and I can either turn the fog intensity down(1-5 settings), or turn the timer on-cycle to less: this is where I'm asking for help now. 

I made a thread about this, but it's lonely over there with only 20 views and no replies.  I'm going to go spawn some pans today i think, because i have so many jars to spawn I don't have time to wait to dial in the conditions... we're going for it.  If you have any experience with the AC infinity cloudforge or marthas, please stop by to at least steer me closer to the right conditions.
