Yeah, I think Yeti was a one and done for me, might revive it at some point.
Pans are a little to fast for me, or maybe I'm a little to slow for pans :muppet:

I pulled a 4yr old plate with beautiful looking growth from a long forgotten project out of the fridge and did transfers from it with the highest of hopes. VERY HIGH HOPES. Like SUPER FUCKING HIGH. Like, the hopes hit a max cap at the ceiling. This was gonna work, the plate looks too good still after all this time. A month later and the T1 plates are crystal clear and there's no myc growth from the transfer. The OG plate was dead. RIP hopes and dreams. Forgive me hopes and dreams, I once again brought you to the cliff and pushed you off and then jumped with you, together, a trinity of us falling back down to "goddamnit why did I let my hopes get so high for that?".

Thankfully I have a few more plates from that time period that still look FUCKING GREAT so I'm pretty sure the next one will work.

Wishing you great success on reviving old plates! Thatโ€™s been my headline as well the last week or so and itโ€™s been pretty surprising seeing whatโ€™s survived and what hasnโ€™t.

Craziest to me personally was some crumb flakes of yellow-brown smashed wedge that had been sitting in the baggy in an open box for over a year, only took like 36 hours to see growth, I was sure it was a lost cause. I find it neat, mycelium is cool :cool:

Gonna do some transfers today and continue to hope this lawyer takes my case, papa needs a new ffu

I confess I'm unsure who sent this generous gift of hillbilly liquid culture and as far as I know I didn't request it it was out of they're kind was of they're heart and I'm unsure how they got my address evin though it seems clean enough for me to send to grains what y'all think ๐Ÿซก
