The Two Faces of Divinity * 1

The Two Faces of Divinity

Divinity has Two Faces

The Greater and the Lesser.

Only by understanding them Equal

do you fully understand them.

❤︎

The greater, it is expanded

it is the face you notice first

but if you say: this is my God

you do not understand.

❤︎

The lesser, it is contracted

almost hidden from view

but if you say: this cannot be God

you miss the Essence.

❤︎

God is in the Great and Small

in the Celestial and the Earthly

nothing is without God

in any way.

❤︎

People marvel in the Greater

sweep the Lesser under the rug

in their hearts they do not want

God to be the true Totality of Everything.

❤︎

God shows Two Faces

both Magnificent in their way

God asks not to choose between them

but still most people do.

❤︎

They reach for the sky

and forget the Earth

they reach for the Rich

standing upon the Poor.

❤︎

Woe, woe!

the chooser and discerner!

You split God down the middle

and worship the most appealing half.

❤︎

Unity means each and every one of us

embraced in Unconditional Love.

Half a God does not mean Worship

Not of God is nothing at all.

❤︎

The Greater and The Lesser

not a choice for you to make

hug them in complete Love

become truly One.

I wish I could see more, all of nature, every atom singing the same song. I suppose having that in awareness may be a form of ultimate resonance.

It's no great effort to tap a little, if there is some memory, or in the pneuma. Speaking of it brought some. The trees, birds did it before, the spirit in them.

All is One yes, but the Oneness presents in dual guise.
One could indeed assign Yin and Yang to it.

One alone does not compute.
No compute, no Universe.

The One is Pure Love
therefore, it is Two.

Beautifully said. For me, this is the kind of truth that music speaks best — just flowing, with nowhere to arrive. It does not explain it away, it just holds both faces at once.

Perhaps, the Invisible One, and the Son of Man, this from the Sophia of Jesus

Hen (outer samadhi), and Sho (absolute samadhi)

Shiva and Shakti

Sun and Moon

So how do the threefold and twofold natures relate?

Two (and all numbers!) are just multiples of 1, which is not 0.

YOU ARE, and YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY a metaphysical singularity! :sunny:

I think 2 is the number of interaction between two things..

So one is all, and also each unit..
Therefore they relate to each other, needing two things to do so..

You're seeing it. One does not compute. Code at the least is binary. No code, no universe.

All IS One but by necessity, One IS Two.

I assert that "division" is the illusion people confuse as us being "in a simulation"; on a higher level, your consciousness is being split by itself like a laser beam and mirror, creating this holographic reality.

This then appears on the surface in common language as duality, light/dark, etc. It's all one thing manifesting via itself-as-light in my honest (and experienced) opinion.

"One does not compute."

One does compute though, because of space, or the lack of self in phenomena as the particular teaching is worded, or oneness. As space can tend to be empty like the still surface of the water, I've thought anyway, 1 and 0 have not much useful difference in the mystical.

There is the reflection, and the moon. 1, 0, who knows. Beauty is what matters, and is it 0, 1, 2? Hey! That combines the threefold in the dual. 0, 1, 2

Brahma the world creator, 1, Vishnu the preserver, 2. Shiva, that which is not, the Invisible One, 0. 0 and three - so the trinity is a way of expressing mod 2, the system only containing 0, 1, 2. just streaming

If 2 is the preserver, then we preserve by the relationship, for better or for worse.

The very direction itself..

Where you aim your self..

Towards something.

Being in place is perfect..

But we have to go somewhere...

necessarily..

you can avoid knots,
In and our of control.

But the certain salvation..
Is based on what you are attending to..

The thought, why be the preserver? Is Shiva the destruction? The preserver is always. Perhaps that's chit. How would we apply satchitananda to the Trimurti?

But the argument is, life always is. We will never not have the relationship. To make it for worse doesn't make it go away. Why would we make it go away? The original separation wants to ban God because it can't face the thought of itself. It can't forgive itself.

There was a large cat-like demon in a version of the Ramayana, and as usual, he was a being who was cursed to be in this asuric body and life. Though he was apparently relatively sane he continued behaving badly; he was waiting for Rama to come end his life in a fight, to be removed from his curse.

I had a flash relating it to alchemy, slipped away.
