So so cool spirit. Great idea.

Heres next up harvested. Only at week 5.5


The front left is superboof and its the best looking all around than all others. Haven't had a perfect grow in a while. I did reverse 2b Blunt and left in the tent but removed yesterday. Pretty sure things got a Lil knocked up.

Some napkin math on my 10x10 sealed room that I ran a few years ago, in the context of power consumption and renewable solar energy.

Two alternating 12hr flower tents with 600w lights
One multi-tiered 18 hr veg and clone tent, I think 400w of lighting

24/7 equipment:
1500w A/C
900w Dehumidifier
Estimate 300w of ventilation and circulation fans
Water pumps, sensors, co2 controller: 200w?

I basically had 35 amps maxed out 75% of the time.

That would take 100 kw hours of energy generation per day to provide 35 amp capacity at any hour as needed. I live in a northern climate, but assuming I had perfect access to the sun, I would need at least 1500 continuous sq. ft. of solar panels to generate the energy for my 100 sq. ft. grow room.

I'm an extreme case of power density, the room was like walking into a machine and into a rain forest. I used ever cubic foot and made all my purchases with space in mind. When growing in a sealed space, it probably costs more in a tiny space, just due to airflow restrictions.

Anyway, I look back and am amazed at the level of engineering I put into it, but horrified at the power consumption. When it was fully running with 60 day strains, I was harvesting at least 2lb per month. Having to trim 2lb every month would have been a never ending chore. And the drying area (outside the grow room) needed its own A/C, dehumidifer, carbon filter.

Basically, just saying it's impractical to grow indoors longterm as energy becomes more scarce. And arguably a lot easier to tackle the problems of outdoors (where legal) compared to engineering a room sized machine.

You were running HPS bulbs I'm sure, been there myself, used to have 10x10 shed back in 06', sealed room Co2, air cooled hoods the works with Coco. Crazy expensive to run in a residential area, my buddy would lose almost 1k off the top just in power bills alone, no time, changing out bottles, going to airgas here and there to fill them.

Nowadays, LED's run much cooler, easier to manage and give up the goods.  I quit HPS many years ago, no hate intended, but I'm well aware of trying to lollipop a 10x10 worth of plants in a tropical sauna, bring sunscreen and a beach towel... and don't forget the shades.  The best we did in 2 rounds before he thought he could do it without me, was 8lbs, a buddy of ours at the time had the same setup running Triple X that he knew backwards and forwards and would pop a 10 pack consistently.  The good ol' days, but yeah that heat from HPS isn't the business, HLG boards kick major ass in my 2x4's, and have been for many cycles.  All the best, appreciate the memory lane, must be the mary jane.  :bigweed:

Hey Derrayld,

Ideally, it will be 4-5 weeks, but weather conditions and the threat of mold may close the window in about 3 weeks. It’s been super dry with a lot of water transport to keep them healthy. Things can change fast and as they get more mature and dense, the worries grow.

I already pulled a GMS Purple Satellite F3 that was finished. It had just a small amount of mold.

What seedbank or breeder has good Skywalker OG, Mac, permanent marker, GMO, and banana genetics? Don't care if they are different places. Looking for fem photoperiod for next year as I think I can run the lights when I shut my AC off and vice versa without overloading the circuit.
What is the best strain for arthritis, nerve, or just all around pain. Not necessarily on the list I have but best you all have had.

I’d check out Hoku as well, even if only to snag the Tuesday freebies for some cannabinoid diversity.  The other noids tend to be great for inflammation and neuroprotection.

I cloned one, reversed the clone, then pollinated the mother to make feminized mac πŸ”₯


Seedlys has permanent marker s1, I wait until the price gets down to like $15 then buy. I have not grown it yet, but ive grown 2 other strains from them and they were legit so I dont see why this one wouldn't be.

So I grabbed blueberry Mac off seedly 10 fems for $17! The permanent marker was sold out before it got that low. Still viewing all the goods on seeds here now, so many to pick from. The ilgm is really expensive so I'll have to save up for that or maybe if I don't blow all my money on vacation I get some from there.
I appreciate the offers for seeds but I don't want to do them an injustice when I try my hand at photos. Who knows I might kill them all.

Doing much better on my 2nd grow. Got about a QP from my 1st grow of 2 plants and 2 clones stuffed in at flower.

2nd round I had 2 clones I had been keeping barely alive for a month waiting for the tent to open up. Once they hit the nutes and lighting shit got real.

One recognizable mistake I made on my first grow was being way too conservative on watering and nutrients. AI did me dirty. A little experience has come a long way. Would be nice if my canopy was more even but this is huge progress from my last grow.

Look into lst plant clips. They really help  keep the plants orgsnized πŸ‘
