My own experience with home-ground brown rice is that it's fine if it's a bit chunky...as long as there's a good bit of fine stuff, it'll all be awesome.

I burned up a cheapie coffee grinder and then bought a kickass grinder https://a.co/d/04jTzZwr . Doing that probably made my actual out-of-pocket cost for rice flour sky high for the rest of my life, but it's pretty awesome, just the same!

Peace to you, friend!

I still didn't really get a clear answer, does it have to be flour? Or can it be a cake of say rice and coir?

@Afullotofshrooms - yes, you can use a cake of rice and coir if you want.

I tried the OG recipe once way back in the day.  Worked great but damn the expense...

Rallying the troops, we ride at dawn!  Doing a couple of pucks for the Cambodian gold and ban huy thanon, want to make sure the syringes are good.  Since I'm doing these CBK style I won't be able to use those for reference.

Wasn't he using like pond or lake water or something, it's been a while seeing that over at Topia.  I remember bee pollen being in there, yup that's where it ends.

Yup, he was brewing and killing pond bugs.  The OG recipe is in that post.

Oh shit, I didn't click on the link, but yeah, that's definitely it, I never attempted that recipe, too complex for my style of growing, but a blast from the past... without a doubt.  I've never made a cake or spore syringe, started on WBS and never looked back, but this should be fun guy (gal) times for sure.  It definitely brings back memories of shooting spore syringes in open air flaming the needle, can be successful, but old day stuff that probably needs to stay in the past.  Enough preacher man, get your prints out, some sterile water, and PC is cooling as I type.  LET's GO Cake Wars!!
