If I saw someone at the library applying for jobs on the computers I think I’d feel pretty strong feelings of positivity toward them for it.

Oh I know it's strange. I have a pretty deep seated sense of shame and not wanting anyone to know that I'm not 100% sorted at all times. It's not good. And I don't extend this same expectations to anyone else. I feel if I see someone else doing the same I wish them well too

Be kind to yourself. As you know, this is exhausting to carry. Accept the mess that life can be. It's not you, it's how you roll with it.  With the attitude you already have in place, you're off to a good start.

I just spent 3 days in the hospital. Brain not feel right for months. Things got bad and it seemed like maybe a small stroke. Turns out my brain fluid pressure was at near deadly levels. Got drained with a spinal tap and feel much better

OPT: my team just beat the absolute top team in the footy. And I was listening to it on the radio on a walk and then just as we won my old housemate friend waved at me on his bike and we had a good chat.

Nubs is awesome too. If you never saw the video of Fat Mike and her talking you should look for it. I think it was on a podcast of his. She's clearly got a good sense of humor about her um.. shortcomings and her song is pretty cool

OPT: making good progress on my new side project: it's a customizable restaurant web site SaaS. Restaurant owners can subscribe to either the self-service or done-for-you tiers. If they do self-service they'll get access to the admin portal where they can manually update their menu, images, hours, etc. If they do the done-for-you tier then they can send an email (I'm going to add SMS later) that contains what updates they want done. I then am having some AI agents validate the request and give a pass/fail score to it. If pass then it updates the DB and instantly shows the updates on their restaurant site.
