Thats my pride & joy " Alberta Diamond Jubilee Winchester 1894" chambered in 38-55 the gun that got me into reloading!  My work space serves as my Mycology lab/ chemistry lab/ reloading and gun storage/ horticulture work space and it backs onto my Indoor grow rooms vegging room and flowering room. 

I keep a few toys close at hand

Everyone has a journal area that is available to them, and they can make entries private or shared. Lots of folks track grows using a journal entry, so that’s a fine way to go, vs starting a new main thread, but is generally everyone’s choice as to how to go. It would be good to also review the Mushroom Cultivation Rules entry - good stuff in there.

I’d advise tracking your grows within your journal. Definitely would not recommend starting any non-mushroom cultivation related threads within the Mushroom Cultivation Forum.

You can always invite folks to come hang out in your journal threads and that helps keep narrow-focused threads (like for one’s own grows) off the main threads. I’m not a site moderator nor a trusted cultivator (TC), so I’m just giving you my opinions, not site policies.

I can empathize, it’s a bit like drinking from a firehose here - this place is so huge, so ancient, virtually every question and innovation under the sun has been hashed and rehashed a hundred different ways. This is why the more recent resources are particularly valuable, because they reflect the learning over time that the community has achieved. The Hitchhiker’s Guide alone is THE one place that truly every new user oughta spend quality time with.

For my own start here, I felt like took me lots of time and reading, and then putting it into practice while trying to stay with the procedures (TEKs) just as they are written, especially for ones first few grows, to get a solid understanding and feel for the process.

Much appreciated,  I'm maing my way through those resources as I  replay.  checked this thread and noticed your replay and I hadn't gotten that far yet.  Still plugging through those posts ad=nd the subsequent posts linked in each section! Lots to process and take in, while juggling life/projects etc!

One last question before I continues to process through the resources.

So people use the journal to track their grows, is it frond upon to start a main thread for ones Grows to track everything and share one main large grow post ( Growing/Agar work) or 2026 cacti grow/  2026 Cannabis grow etc?  hope that made scence..

ie:  One main thread thread in the botanical forum say "Skunks Cacti Grow 2026" and track everything cacti related in the one section
