I took a thick straw and made a shield around it. Then wrapped in news paper. Then put in an envelope. If it lives it lives if it dies oh well, it’s worth a shot. This package is going international from America so I had to keep it small and light

Hoping the season isn't too short in Ct.  Came across some clusters that were past their prime.  Checked another spot 15 miles downstream and only found these 2.

These temps are definitely scary.  Reached 96 today & will continue through Wednesday.  On the bright side, it's supposed to drop back to the 60's on Thursday with expected rain.  Hopefully this heat wave won't kill the season just yet.

Alright WPA we have days of rain ahead. Lots of spots will probably flood… So I’m looking forward to seeing all your foggy rain-spattered pics of massive flushes as you brave the downpours for this wild gift of the gods’ flesh!

I think the heat wave will be okay for the ovoids especially with rain and cooler temps in the forecast. At least around me, hotter weather with rain and ample humidity can sometimes produce quite significant flushes

Consecutive days of heat can also kill the season.  Especially as high as our temps got.  But, i'm not giving up yet.  The next few days, we have lower temps and continuous rain in the forecast.  The thunderstorms have arrived which has renewed my hopes of finding more.

Season hasn’t even started yet in northern NJ , June has always been the best month for continuous flushes

It's the heat that brings mine out. Pushed 90F a few days ago and I finally have my first pins.

I am starting to see a few more after those 90s for a couple days followed by some rain yesterday. Looks like there's a decent amount more hiding, but only took a real quick look in one spot this morning to get away from something.

To anyone near the sus Havre de grace area or that end of the sus..

Around when does the sus kick into full gear? June is the official season start?

Just want to know when the season has started and ended in the past. Thanks
