Lets.hope for a solid second.

How hard was it for you to establish an ovoid patch?

Depends on how you look at it. The main tub was destroyed by slime mold. So there was some hardship there. But this was a 600 ml jar of chips with some bran, that got a wet filter and showed some beginning mold at 90%. Threw it in a flowerpot (20 l bucket to be precise) and fed it a couple of times. And here they are. So difficulty level 1.5 Derp or something in that range.

Pic tax: supposed scopulicola from seed

Cool, I found them hard to cultivate. Moved to an outdoor patch. Hopefully spring or fall I'll see some production on those. I think I'll have caeruleorhiza yet this spring with these temps.

Beautiful cacti Stagger!

Yeah mine don't look like scops at all... Bought the seeds as scopulicola.

This one was pumped up on a Pereskiopsis and degrafted. It looks identical to my terscheckii. I think the seeds were mislabeled or a x with terscheckii

Its going nuts.

The deer are an absolute menace :crankey:

As a full time gardener you have my greatest empathy, as well condolences of casualties. If I don't spray certain properties with repellant, on the 8th day they decimate everything. :uhoh:

That run oughta keep the buggers out :flowers:

Was away a few days and came home to a large 2nd flush of Pan BS RS that shat spores everywhere. However got some really large sturdy fruits and made it home just in time to harvest. Gonna be a long night!
