one can try to blend water and oil but it doesn't look well blended once the agitation stops

That is how it tends to go. An outside and aggressive force by which natural bonds are torn apart. E.g. conquistadors

I do at times feel some guilt or confusion when I go from say ACIM mind to Sanatan Dharma mind, not because I believe a distinction at the core, but because there is so much out there that they must be divided, especially in such as Christian programming ad nauseum, and these are shown to me as that of grosser mind, ulterior. Check the refined Christians in the mystics who speak of the same mind, and that their observations, practice and fruits do not differ significantly. Samyama is universal in that human minds do not differ by path - dharana, concentration, dhyana, meditation, sublimity, and samadhi, absorption, space, oneness, mahamudra, the no-thought state, dharma body. The fruits of the spirit are one in such as joy, fearlessness, compassion.

If yoga means union, why not find the commonalities between spiritual traditions. Through blending, one gets new and interesting products. See: the migration of Buddhism across Asia, and into the psychedelic Americas. Ideas are meant to be shared, so that they evolve and are ever-new.

Yes, and I don't favor or oppose new religions. I think what is needed is available. Given a certain minimum, means were never the problem imo; they are not lacking, only if breathing is, ... but the remembering, therefore the sticky reminders, 'breathe', ...

Check the Essenes teaching Kashmir Shaivism.

Quote:
For, lo, the eternal and sovereign Luminous space,
Where rule the unnumbered stars,
Is the air we breathe in
And the air we breathe out.
And in the moment betwixt the breathing in
And the breathing out
Is hidden all the mysteries of the Infinite Garden.

Beautiful is right!
You ARE.
The Source of all that WE ARE.
I love existence!
