Oh that sounds amazing! I hope to be able to attend a psychedelic festival of any kind one day! I'll have to look around for good ones here in the EU, but I wouldn't mint traveling internationally for a big one once the stars align.

Evolution Festival in Germany in 170 days or so

And

Fusion Festival, which is massive.

Psy-Fi which is in Netherlands in July.

Trance in the Woods if you live nearer UK

We're going to Psy Exp (Germany), Ozora (Hungary) and Space Safari (France) this year, and if you have the chance, go to Boom Festival in Portugal, it's awesome. That was the reference I made, 30.000 hippies, next to a lake, burning sun, insane art and performances. One of the most sustainable festivals out there, great food, nice people. I walk around naked all day there, a friend of ours (tiny, slim, beautiful girl) walks around naked all day with a giant inflatable dick. No one harassed us, no one gave us weird looks, everyone shares their shit.

My wife is also going to Masters of Puppets this year, much more underground and with hardtek / Frenchcore. It doesn't combine well with the kids' holidays, so I'm staying home.

Also, Mo:Dem in Croatia is a real must.

Oh you play? Cool shit. I always feel strange looking to go to a psychedelic festival in this day and age... because i haven't been in a long while and I'm 40 now. Isn't that too old for these things? My memory from the ones I went to is that the festivals skewed pretty young...

Last year a South African guy at Mo:Dem taught me the line 'lekker lekker broski'. It became my mantra during the festival. I will not ask tou to dox yourself, but listen to a lot of SA dj's, might even have danced to your tunes somewhere, sometime.

Quantum, I'm 37. I danced with Raja Ram and his granddaughter at Boom years ago, the guy was in his 70s and stole the show.

Cool, I guess I just feel a bit too buttoned up these days now that I'm raising actual teenagers. Like I stopped going to pubs and clubs most of the time because I just felt like a loser nowadays who sticks out like a sore thumb. I used to go to clubs every weekend, raves, psy and dance/music festivals.. but at some point the constant partying got tiring and my responsibilities piled up and I started to feel it wasn't my scene anymore lol

Im way too self conscious, i gotta work on that in my shroom sessions :p

It was a really tough guy on a quad who helped with building up the festival. A friend of the crew. There were several SA guys in the crew / buildup volunteer crew, really cool people.

Quantum, I think there's a difference between partying every weekend (I am too old for that and my job is too physically demanding) and occasionally having a blast, bracketed in by a Monday off, no chores to be done etc. Most of my friends who still party every Fri-Sun either don't have kids or shouldn't have been parents.

That said, my mother parties a lot more and harder than I do and she doesn't even do drugs. When I was a teenager we used to bump into her and my friends always felt really uncomfortable about their own drug use.

Well, I'm 50 and I am very grateful and fortunate to be able to attend this private event every year with my gf and her weirdo friends. Only like 1500 hippies, but we throw down. Turn it into a 4 or 5 day weekend to recover and come back to earth. And every year, I seem to find the strongest mushrooms I've ever had.

So no, you're not too old to rip it up in a responsible fashion. Just stay hydrated.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I've saved all of these! Psy-Fy seems the most possible this year, will look into it! Although it is strange that it is a Dutch festival but it is being held in Germany this year :lol:

finally spawning. spooning Tidal Wave myc from the narrow neck jar. Scraping off even the spots on the lid like a delicious dessert. Confirming again this is my absolute favorite smell, heavenly.



got it done but as always when I think I have it figured out I manage to lose the plot. was gonna use a bbq chicken takeout container, but wanted something deeper, so used a 6 cup Tupperware. laymixed but made it too shallow so remixed everything together and just pseudocased. used the takeout container lid (basically dubtubbing, but saving tupperwares for other grows).

broke the ice, bunch more jars to spawn, feeling good about that. ochres germinating, toque not so gonna try on some pucks asap.

fruits coming soon! :rockon:

edit: also dropped some colonized grain into cryovials dry to revive at a later date. that how that works?
