I think I may have caught that wave... or I hope so. No other Pan grows under my belt, so time to learn what to do (and not do).

Whelp, all of my germination attempts have failed.  I think I'm just working with too low of temps, which means I need to build a *GASP* germination incubator.

So this is my 2nd ever Cube I am starting from spore and its what taught me Agar work!
It has been labeled "Albino A+" (but as you'll see from the fruits, it might be normal A+ :lol: )
2nd transfer, early January! (Inoced December 25, I hope it still counts, 1 week from 2025!)



Put to a small grain bag (I use small bags for G2G transfers sometimes)


Spawn to bulk with Bucket tekked Coir, Verm and Gypsum!


Harvest by around Mid-Late february! :sporedrop:
Multispore caused some large fruits at one part and mostly aborts on another part of the tub, but the fruits that did grow were beautiful, several caps as large as my Palm!

I've made a couple spore prints with those, and they dropped an insane amount of spores! :laugh:

I've had issues with no / slow germination in my cold kitchen too. I think a lot of folks here were putting T2s to grain when I had my first germ plate showing something...
Might this explain why no Gym wants to germ? I have zero experience with Gyms, but have never had so much trouble germinating something that wasn't ancient to start with.

Took longer than expected but they are ready to be spawned, got my straw soaking in the lime bath, and will spawn Monday. I'm so hype for these. Since the spores are off Blue Oysters, maybe I'll be able to culture a half ways decent pearl oyster clone out of this as the result :cool::stoned::popcorn:

I wanted to try out different grains after using nothing but rye for years. Thing is resolved now: I'm a millet guy. But it is interesting to see how the other work out.

Oats were a pain to work with, but gave really nice spawn. Spelt was great, but not that much of a difference with rye. I wasn't shocked by how my cubes performed on spelt, but it sure worked.

Whole brown rice is being frowned upon by many here. Subaer and IWL performed really poorly on it and cube myc looked pretty thin and not so hot. But now that they're coming in, they actually look decent. I half expected this to trich out. But for a T1 from MS it isn't bad. Fatter stipes than with spelt.

Thanks! My fiance brought those knives with her when she moved in. I also love my kitchen. It’s the biggest one I’ve had so far, and I really appreciate the space when cooking.

Last few times I’ve gone really far out tripping I have cleared the island and laid on it in the nude. I take one of the stools and hold it over myself and rotate it until I accidentally hit the lights one too many times and then stop.
