Basically, it's an alternative to the actual severing of the tubules, using a clip instead.
Saves your ability to procreate (much better than the re-attachment surgery, apparently) if you choose to do so in the future. Not that you would, what with 2 chitlins running amok, but it's nice to have your options open.

Personally, i'm waiting for those blasted Denmarkians (or whomever) to finish testing on the male BC pill....that sounds like a really good idea.

My boss had a vasectomy about 8 yrs ago. This spring he had to take two weeks off because he developed a sist on one of his nuts. He was told it was directly linked to the vas, he was just the lucky one out of every approx. 5,000 that this occurs to. He said it was the worst pain he ever experienced (including the original procedure). Oddly enough he said he'd have it done again, and I don't blame him, pulling out sucks and don't get me started on condoms. I plan on having one some day. Just some food for thought.

ahhh, Ok, so they dont cut off the supply of the liquid, just the sperm that fills it? So you still pass fluid when you come, there is just no sperm in it? Is that understanding correct?

As best i understand it....eliminates the nasty baby causing sperm, but since it severs the cords near the testicle(s), the flow from prostate to dick-hole remains intact.

I think the consistency changes a bit....but that's to be expected.
And the swelling due to the surgery might cut off/slow fluid flow for a while....

I was told in my first screening that mostly the fluid will look the same, be a bit lesser amount, and be clearer and less cloudy.

Today I had my evaluation where they remind me 900 times its perm, etc.

Then she fondled my nuts for a while, mad eme cough.  etc.

She uses the 2 cut method, her claim was that the single cut method overall tends to require more tugging and pulling and is more painful in the long run then the dual cut method.

I made it obvious to her that I was worried about pain, so she hooked up a darvocet to go with the valium presurgery.. woo.

Much better then just valium and local.

Oh, and I get T3's for a few days afterwards, which isnt special, but its better then ibuprofin or fucking acetametaphin like some nazi docs hand out.

One more day (friday)  I'm sure ill be here to post my after cut whine.. :wink:
