Ever try just like a real low dose for the THC? I find that I like just about 2.5mg of THC in an edible honestly.

I mean I think for me weed is go big or go home and do it rarely. I have a full on trip from brownies that I make myself so I wouldnt know the dose. There is though a threshold dose where it gets psychedelic and thats what I like about weed. 1-2 per year its golden. Weed shifts my sense of self the most from all the other drugs. I can step out and look back on my regular self as a different being, unchained from the regular clutter and bullshit going on constantly. And be like what tf has this dude been up to for the past months or years. For example last edible trip I literally got gifted by a tinder date, so when drugs come to you, you wont say no. It was amazing, spiritually and physically healing. The conclusion on looking back on myself is that I genuinely waste a lot of fucking time looping in the same patterns. It is nice as im writing this to actually remember that feeling.
When weed gets shit for me is when I come the next day after such an amazing trip and do it again. A third day again. It loses its magic day by day and I become more and more of an ego inflated cunt.
So yeah I love weed like CRAZY, and combining it with a low dose of mushrooms actually gives it a very nice tint, like the weed creativity but placed within a higher state of mind framework , so the ideas produced tend to be of a more elevated tone and not just the typical weed thoughts.
When going high dose on both weed AND mushrooms is where I turn into the joker and completely unhinged.
Few places in the world I can be like that and ortigueira festival in spain is one of them (only ive found actually)
So yeah weed is sacred but since its got such a mighty force on me I am not allowed to do it often, like at all. Maximum allowable is once every three months
Low dose I find pointless since I dont actually like the weed effects like mellowing out and the sleepy eyes and all of that. I like it when it gets me stimulated so much so that I cannot sleep for the whole night if I do it late.

How did they go for you. I made some mush chocolates using thc infused coconut oil and they were an amazing combination.

These only have 2 g of mushrooms per brownie. I take medication that greatly increases my tolerance. I'll usually make tea from 14g to have a trip similar to 3.5g. I have a couple tubs going right now. I'm planning to do another batch with around 14 g per brownie so I'll actually feel something. These are for my wife.

I'll report back after my ultra strong batch!

Next time I plan to only use 3.5g of this particular shroom powder so the cookies are more of a microdose.

@Agar Wedge using 3.5g shroom powder I think adding 1/2 Tbsp butter and 1 Tbsp Sugar to the recipe would be a nice balance.

Those chocolates sound nice Klarn. I've never made a batch but I got a buddy who would dig it. What kind of oil do you like to use? Talk to me like I'm stupid I know nothing about thc oils :lol:

I like to use fractionated MCT coconut oil. It stays liquid at room temp, so it's easier to work with than unrefined coco oil. I try to get it pretty saturated when adding the thc so I don't need to add a ton of oil to the chocolates (too much makes them soft at room temp). But a little coco oil in chocolate will make it shine like a pro made it!

Then you just need to do some math :rolleyes: to calculate dosage. I like to go 0.75-1.0g of shrooms and 25-50mg of thc per chocolate.

***Always use a double boiler to melt chocolate***

I usually pour them into a small muffin tin, about 1/3 to 1/2 full. The volume of those will dictate the total amount of chocolate needed.

This is a cool idea and I'm glad you had it work for you.

I would add more chocolate before adding more sugar. You'll add more sugar by adding more chocolate anyway, but the extra bitter fermented essence will do a lot more to cover the earthiness than plain sugar. Sugar isn't really a flavor unless it's used in extremely heavy amounts, that's part of the reason soda has to use so much damn sugar, so really you aren't covering one flavor with another. More chocolate will add more flavor to either mask or at least compliment the flavor of the mushrooms.

Additionally you can brown your butter for a slight extra flavor profile.

Sprinkles of large grain or flaky salt on top of the dough balls before baking can go a long way as well.
