for sure I will be the first one to admit that I've lost my patience in the past.  I've had to take breaks and even ban myself.

i too, was emulating my mentors to some extent. I came from an era where you just flat out didn't ask questions.

I still try not to spoon feed information but I'm a lot nicer about it

compared to bod or rr? i'm a fucking cream puff.  Getting softer every day

No way...

i'm aware he's around. i'm not really trying to call him out or anything like that. I think he was also just trying to emulate his mentor.

All I'm really saying is I think we can do better.  To a huge extent I think we are doing a lot better. Honestly I haven't seen anything remotely close to bullying in quite a while I guess.

if it's already in a coffin, I'd like to go ahead and pound some nails in it. Starting with the search function.  I use it all the time but really specifically.  It's usually to look up a post I already know exists by using certain keywords or whatever.

Look it's not a fucking ai optimized search engine designed to fetch relevant results.  You have to have a pretty good foundation of knowledge to decide what's relevant or not.  Like searching for books at a library.  Neither the computer nor the librarian can really tell you if that book is relevant, or even obsolete. I mean let's be honest most of the books out there about mushroom cultivation are full of frankly really fucking bad information. 

We have to quit blaming people for not knowing the difference. shit.  i recently started looking into growing cordyceps and immediately, that familiar wave of insecurity washed over me as I started looking up pages and pages.

Some people were saying it really wasn't worthwhile. Then it looked like some people were having pretty good success.

I finally said fuck it I'm just going to ask. lo and behold, ol roscoe and some other familiar faces showed up and held my hand!

yeah I bopped around in there a little bit last week.  I saw a couple of people calling each other dip shits or whatever that was all about and I logged back out. not my circus.

I mean, theres the occasional thugnar. That shit should be dealt with swifter, in my opinion.  The endless pages of trolling and dragging aren't really a good look for us.  Guys like that should just be banned quickly or at least warned.

Has anyone ever felt high off of tea fumes? I made tea from 3 ounces for brownies and my wife was giddy AF after. She kept on laughing uncontrollably afterwards for no reason. She did have a pot brownie, but had eaten them before and never acted like that. She swears it was the tea fumes
