Yeah, I know also there can be maillard reactions between amino acids and sugars.
But I have substrate suitable for sterilization

Okay, quick update on the added nutrients:
Yeast extract
Malt extract
Yeasy enrichment broth
Glucose
Fructose
I added 10 grams of nutrient powder to 175 grams of rye!
I know about the cramelisation, seen in the jar, seems rye is being darker than usual, no sign of growth yet.
More to come.....
