i dont live in washington but i heard the best places to look are near sand, tall grass, and in the forest.

P. azurescens grows in the late fall OCt through December. They grow in sandy soil along sand dunes along the Oregon Coast. Have been successfully transplanted into similar woodchip environments in some peoples back yards.
