DO NOT BUY A KIT FROM MUSHROOM MAGIC! They will charge you 500 dollars for 50 dollars worth of stuff, and then tell you to pour liquid culture directly onto straw, a sure fire recipe for green everytime. You can buy an awesome kit from homestead book co. or you can make the same one by buying a mycobag, a 5lb bag of highmountain compost, and a rubbermaid bin for about 40 bucks.

Please don't spend that ridiculous amount of money when you can get an identical set up at wal mart for 1/4 of the price. Knowledge is power, and cheapness. If you MUST order a kit I also recommend homestead book co.. also mycobag and mycosupply have similar kits..

good luck

Grain bags from www.mycobag.com are great. If you don't want to make your own jars, bags are the best, cheapest method.

They do not come with spores.

Check out all of the shroomery sponsors. They are all legit, and they don't charge a fortune.

Email Homestead about it. They dont advertise it anymore, but they assured me they still sell it.

ok so if you use a grain enviroment bag like this for example: http://www.mycobag.com/merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=M&Product_Code=MEBGB-10
do you still need to put the bag inside an air tight container?
