Homestaed Magic Mushroom Kit
    #768378 - 07/22/02 04:43 PM (21 years, 7 months ago)

When I was about 15 I bought a homestead mushroom kit. I never got a chance to use it because I was a kid and it seemed too complicated at the time (plus i was living with a friend and his folks).

Question: Do those kits really work or is it all a bunch of hype and do they come with spores?

Yes they do... The spores are taped to the directions book.

The directions that come with it are verry basic but verry acurate. I duno what strain of cubies they use but I bought the kit at a head shop in Texas before I ever knew of the shroomery. It had petrie dishes, agar, inoculation loop, alcohol wipes, matches, scalple, some sort of grain mix but it used test tubes instead of jars and came with a bag of substrate.
Everything you need, it was right in their. I messed mine up but was able to produce three trips out of it in one flush. I never knew that you could get more "flushes" out of it, hell I didnt even know what a "flush" was.
