Innoculating Grain Jars - Beef's way. * 14
    #28744657 -

A couple of members asked that I make this video of how I do my jars and alas, I am but a servant of this community so here you are.

Yes, I took too much yeti and my hands were shaking.  Yes, I dropped a ton of wedges.  Yes I made a couple minor mistakes that ultimately only slowed the process down but here we are.  All things considered, it wasnt a horrible run.

Ask and thou shall recieve.

now heres how i get my wedges down into the grain.  its the same way i break up consolidated jars.  not for the feint of thigh.  i dont recommend it it you bruise easily.

I've only seen the beginning so far and I already want to get a flowhood even more than before. Good shit

Dopethrone is a nice touch btw. Made me want to pick up my guitar and play it but my fingers are already shredded

Nice! Thanks for the video. A flow hood does make this look like a luxury. That second video gives an age restriction error for me too. Better put on pants before slapping that thigh next time.

Epiphone SG G400 made in korea from 94 and a $30 behringer SF300 pretty much. Plugged my shit into an audio interface on this one and using something that I think sounds pretty much like the amp jus used back then (120w soundcity). Nothing too fancy, looking forward to actually getting a 120w amp though

Sloppy ass playing but can you guess which one this is https://voca.ro/1oj7YGw72st8

And yeah, bit too much of an ewiz fan over here as well

Doom-Mantia from Come My Fanatics, probably my favourite track of all times. Just can't get bored of it even after listening to it for countless years

Btw. The trick to getting his tone is fuzz mode 2 on hyperfuzz/superfuzz, and cranking the living shit out of gain/dist. Bit of bass, treble maxed out on the pedal, slight treble boost on the amp. Might vary with the actual SS120 but yeah

Great video man, Never thought about lifting em upside down to place back on the lid in between, I will start doing this, though having the lid face up in an SAB gives my mind icky thoughts..

I love the petri throw, very admirable  I can’t wait for to build a flow hood, thought about buying one but actually look forward to building mine

Not yet as in it's on my list of stuff I want to listen to but have too much shit to go through already lol

Sounds a bit like Opium Heathen, atleast the vocals remind me of it, also if you like ewiz the rest of the band made a new band with Lee Dorrian (iirc their producer back then for dopethrone stuff) recently, With The Dead, bit different but still heavy as shit

Yeah it's pretty much the same in a SAB. If you let the air settle down you're pretty free to do whatever you want in there, just don't hover over your shit ever with anything non-sterile and go much slower as to not move the air around. Also don't bump the box period

The petris/foil/clingwrap getting thrown on the floor is highly relatable, ain't got time to organize trash.
The thigh slam with the jars looked painful tho lol. I gently roll my jars end over end to get the agar down, it creates space in the grains and let's the agar fill the gap. Occasionally you'll get the sticky fucker that just needs a smack though, getting stuck to the lid is annoying.
Like the style though beef.

It's inspiring watching you work. Thank you for taking the time to do this. I'm 100% gonna use this technique on the next run. Excellent choice for background soundtrack.

Two unexpected revelations I got from this, apart from the technique itself:

- I don't need to cool the blade when doing jars?! Fuck yeah.

- I NEED need need that mycocoil with the footpedal. Smooths out the movements overall and just so much better than flaming.

As always, thank you for being so selfless in your service to the community. Hope you had a great run today!

you bet man.  i mean, the blade cools immediately when it hits the agar but illl tell ya something.

one time i shoved it right through the side of the dish and right into my thumb. goes right through polystyrene like butter when its hot.  just... keep that in mind.
