first off, why are you using an incubator thats only 75 degrees? get a fish tank heater to increase the heat. mid 70's took me forever to colonize!
second off, with that much substrate, you are not likely to see much of anything going on with only 2cc's of spores in a half gallon jar at a low incubation temperature.
even CAKES at 85 degrees will rarely show much growth after 2-3 days!
patience. I personally think you used too large of a jar and not enough spore solution at too low a temperature.

i agree with shroomologist...for a quart jar you generally use 2cc...for a half gallon i would say about 4cc would have been better..

Spores take longer to germinate on grain.
2cc's will be okay...Next time you might want to use a little bit more for time purposes.
Yes, and try to up your incubator into the mid 80's...this will help greatly.
Get an igloo icebox, set a half gallon glass jug filled with water, and put an aquarium heater in there, and you're set.

i put the lid on the incubator and put the termomitor flat on the bottom of it and it reads 80 degrees.. so its a few more degrees in the jars i figure is that good?
thanks
