"Where have all the flowers gone".  The earliest version of this song that I know was by The Kingston Trio but I'm not sure if they wrote it.

My mother used to sing it to me as a child.  Ever since she died (too young, I might add) it makes me very sad to hear it. :sad:

John Lennon - Mother

This song moved me so much. Only a handful of songs have ever done that to me. Man. The DVD version with the pictures, fuckin brought tears to my eyes. And then when it shows John Lennons face I realized how much he meant to people back then.
