Azure grow most often in Northern beds in quite extreme cold where hoses freeze at night but you can ( shud ( water during days )
I get early ones but remember thinking I missed 1st yr giving up too early.

Irrigate them patches bro

Today is an exciting day. I've been adding Psilocybe Cyanescens colonized hardwood chips to this area of the yard in the PNW over the last many months. The temps have been dropping and we've seen a fair amount of rain over the last two weeks. Today I discovered these popping up underneath the fern.

I wanted to wait til my flushes finished but we've already had deep freezes.
I stopped watering to try and prevent any loss and covered the beds but I think this is as far as I get once again.

Have maybe 5-6 clusters this dense.

A little earlier than expected i was visiting old hunting grounds today. Normally it flushes a bit later, but it was a rainy summer and temperatures dropped recently. I got 3 jars in the fridge with specimen for cloning tomorrow, i'm really done for today after 11 hours total in trains and 4 hours quick hunting. One jar with one fruit in pre-sterilized water, one pre sterilized jar with some fruits iodine-treated in the field and one just clean jar with some fruits put in at home before loading the dehydrator. I wasn't so sure what's the best approach so i tried different things.
Was a long way home by train, that's why they look a bit spoiled.

It's all Psilocybe cyanescens

2 pins has me on the board! My first woodlovers from a bed I made! Cyans in this bed, I have a few more beds with subs, azzies and ovoids too. The weather is still warm and we haven't had much rain yet, will be spraying the beds with a hose in the afternoons to keep them damp.

Been a while.. quick post; so azurescens bed was pushing fruits. But these are not azzies!

Or.. someone made a joke and send a print of something else.. or made a mistake.. as the entire bed is littered with them. So that is really messed up and wouldn't say these were accidentally introduced, as I used a ton of spawn on these beds...

But, on a positive note, got some genetics from Tweeq popping up and some subaeruginosa I think, not entirely sure.

Some cyanescens;

Going through a private hell for months, so I'll be absent from this forum from time to time.. hoping for better days

Cyanescens patches in a nearby park have come to life

And so has the Psilocybe Subaeruginosa bed we made last year.

This particular one I have mixed extra wood chips into in early spring, it was thorougly picked apart and pulled upside down by birds and has also survived a dog vomit slime mold (which I removed).

I hope life gets better for you soon. You have many friends and well wishers here. I hope you know that. I am eternally grateful to you for those sub spores you sent me. Thank you again.

On a woodlovers note, you all make me want to be a better grower. My azurescens bed is looking decent, but springtails may have gotten my cyanescens bed. I am going to keep faithfully watering them until it gets way to cold. Fingers crossed.

Indoor Allenii. Wild print direct to syringe, to PF cake to 50/50 chips/coir. So quit blaming our little friends for your own mistakes. We're the dirty ones.

This area got so hot and dry this summer that the rhododendron hanging over it died, but these things are survivors. Planted 2021
I thinking this fall I am just going to make spore solutions that are a blend of a lot of genetics of subaeruginosa, cyanescens, allenii, and azurescens.

Be better for success to put that smoothie/puck to grain first. Just my opinion.
