Hmm this one says it's for ticks, fleas, ants and "numerous pests"

I'm not sure if the 'numerous pests' include slugs, but regardless, it's worth a try ( I know for a fact it doesn't hurt the environment I use this brand myself ) also if they make this to control all these other problems, I'm sure they'll have one somewhere that is mushroom friendly and slug-controlling.

I'm not sure how supported the information is, but I found while looking for slug repellents that garlic helps greatly in desensetising the slugs to the applied area.

I don't know how or even if it would effect the mushrooms, but again I'm not even sure how true this garlic is, I'll keep reading.

I've heard of a way to get rid of those slugs, naturally - without chemicals.

Put a container, glass or jar of beer, half full, outside in your garden. They are attracted to it for some reason, and crawl in and drown. It sounds crazy, I know, but it works.

A friend of mine has a HUGE slug problem. They are dried up all over the side walks, they look like dried slime smears - it's disgusting! Anyway, she does this in her garden, and it seriously cuts back on the number of them there.

I figure, it's worth a try.

On future note if you're ever growing outside again just put a bowl of beer buried level with the sand. The slugs go to it and died in it.

to stop the slugs from getting to your mushies, make a line of salt all the way around your patch, make it about 1/4 inch tall mound all the way around, no slugs will get through it. Also, you can get a bottle of beer, empty it about halfway, then bury it up to the neck in the ground, they'll go for the beer before they go for the mushrooms... but if you really don't want them to get to your mushies, use slug bait or DE, or something similar.

Salt works good though, just goes away in the rain, but if your outdoor patch is covered in a tarp, shouldn't matter

Oh, and to clear up the whole menangitus thing from slugs... I used to lick slugs when i was a kid, because it makes your tongue go numb... I never got any sort of brain swelling either, and i live in washington, so i doubt you're at any risk.

He could be lieing and trying to see if I die =X lol

180 grams wet. But they feel prety dry already.

Method of growth was 8 inches deep poo used a 2 flushed 10 lbs of poo as spawn for the extra poop added. What I did was dug 8 inches down witha shovel and it was cone shaped then added the spawn to the bottom added dry poo to the top and watered real well. In direct sunlight but again in washingtons state so its prety cool all the time. Hasent rained much so no humidity realy and yet the grew so good!

They're fine. Haven't any of you had gardens before? Slugs are always a problem. You just put some salt out around and it takes care of the problem. Also go out in the morning and sprinkle salt on any slugs you see. Kills them quick!

Slugs get on vegetables all the time, that's why you rinse them off before eating them. You're always at risk of some strange bacterium making you sick, I wouldn't worry about a little slug juice.
