Had a decent find in the garden the other night thought I had posted.

. MM
An update to that brew. I hadn’t noticed much activity in the vapor lock. So I popped the cap for a quick inspection.

I scooped a couple teaspoons of plant material for inspection. I think the gymnopilus chunks floated to the the top and ran a bit of myc. I’d say this has a good chance of being an active brew. I removed the top layer used that for a poultice.
Feels slightly electric. Also seems to have a spicy or hot vibe. slight electrical shocks in my hand while holding it. I’d say it is an instant pain reliever. I touched my nose and it was a jolt that seemed to shock and clear the nostril instantly.
Maybe I’m just a bit nervous working with a different process. After having a smoke and chilling for a sec it’s just after 3 am….! I might be experiencing some time dilation. I was a bit spooked so I washed my hands really well lol.
slight tracer’s, light body high/warmth… Pupils normal.
Edit..
Despite the well-established medicinal values of Jimson weed (Datura stramonium L.), this medicinal plant has been associated with neurological effects such as hallucination and anxiety in folklore. This study examined the effect of alkaloid extracts from the leaf and fruit of Jimson weed on critical enzymes of the monoaminergic [monoamine oxidase (MAO)] and cholinergic [acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE)] systems of neurotransmission. Alkaloid extracts were prepared by solvent extraction method and their interaction with the activities of MAO, AChE, and BChE were assessed (in vitro). Gas chromatography coupled with mass spectroscopic (GC-MS) characterization of the extracts was also carried out. The results revealed that the extracts inhibited the activity of the enzymes assayed for in a concentration-dependent manner. Considering the IC50 values, the fruit extract had more potent (P < 0.05) inhibitory effect on the enzymes’ activities, compared to the leaf extract. GC-MS characterization revealed the presence of atropine, scopolamine, amphetamine, 3-methoxyamphetamine, 3-ethoxyamhetamine cathine, spermine, phenylephrine, and 3-piperidinemethanol, among others in the extracts. The alteration of activities of these critical enzymes of the cholinergic and monoaminergic signaling may be responsible for the reported neurological effects of this medicinal plant in folklore; nevertheless, the fruit extract exhibited more neuromodulatory effect than the leaf.

I literally just tossed a sweater box of colonized smoker pellet and potting soil behind a bush one day. No idea what genetics these ones are.

Today is the end of the road for allenii, snow tomorrow and temps in the 20s for the foreseeable future. Glad to have gotten a nice handful but also sad to see many won’t reach their full potential, better than last though.

Beauties, Kirk! Nice to see all the fruits y'all. Still waiting for Azzies here. The season is about half a month delayed, temp-wise. Luckily we've been getting plenty of rain this week and the temps don't look like they will drop below zero soon, so there's a chance.
Regardless, the mycelia I've spawned into the forest (an actual forest this time) are on fire. The Azzy myc is even visible above soil surface without having to remove any debris. Next year might be a charm.

I don’t see allenii. The pics look like azzies to me. Is there another patch I missed? Those look really nice.

It’s entirely possibly something got mixed up, patch is only two years old and Azzies are on the whole other side of the house. Pictures patch is supposed to be allenii, weather has not allowed me to get them mature enough to break veils in these two years though.

Some more pictures. Harvested a few more cyanescens.. and I 'think' the flowerpot which is showing growth now has subaeruginosa in it.. I can't member though (damn ADD). Also harvested some subtropicalis which is is drying on the top most tray..
Feels good to have some mushrooms on stock again, I was running out on mushrooms for microdosing. I gave too much away

This pic of rodent torn azzie cap that's super saturated came out neat to my eyes. I like the clear edges of cap
This azzie had complete hole thru stem at elbow. Hardly attached to base yet cap matured. I love these cuz they are tough as fuk
Happy fall

It can be pulled off, but it is about the least optimal way to do it. Yield will be very low. Chips are the best way.
