Yesterday my daughter broke the world record for first word. * 5

I was able to not only get her to say “hello”, a two syllable first word, but also she was able to smash the world record and did it at 6 weeks!!! I’ve never been so proud in my life. We were able to get it on recording as well.

Hahahaha. I think morally I would be against making her instantly famous. Benign world known for something is a cross to bear at times. I guess maybe when she’s older if she wants to do it, it can be her decision. She’s almost said it a couple times back to me, but nailed it on this one. She hiccups in the middle of it too, it’s so damn cute.

My kid spoke super early then spent a year regressing with his language.

Luckily it's just one of those confusing things you experience as a parent, it turns out he is fine.

early talkers and or readers are the supposedly some of the worst.
not because they aren't bright or anything like that, no, that they definitely can be and oftentimes are.
Nay, rather that because of those things not being in the 'out of this world' classification of things- insofar as youngins go - as in, they're 2 of the things most, if not all children will generally grow up to do anyways at some point or another, sometimes earlier, sometimes late - but still, it more or less just makes them more annoying & earlier, too.

or so i've heard....:shrug:
i still think its awesome, and I for one will be the first to applaud you for your magnificent contributions to our good green shared earth, sirs, just....don't shoot the messenger!  :lol:

They learn to blackmail at age 4. Then they scheme on you til about ten, and then just completely take over.

It must be a trip to be a parent. They are just these tiny beings constantly learning and absorbing information. Its wild to visit a friend who has a kid and then come back each year to see them learning something new.

It’s my biggest hurtle in my forethought. Luckily our family is so unbelievably huge, that she can socialize amongst the 76 cousins she has. My in laws are approaching 140 active members. The gatherings are ridiculously large.

All this means is… I’m probably going to have not just one, but a bunch of 15 year old girls in my house going on and on.
