Yeah, sometimes you can slip into spaces which seem to exist outside of normal time -- huge quantities of thoughts and neuro-actions can seem to get compressed into a single moment -- clocks stop, and sometimes, can even appear to run backwards, but as said above, perception plays a large role...

Given that the term "perception" applies to any conduit of knowledge to the "self" (however, vaguely defined), whether this conduit is internal or external... :wink:
