Haven't listened to the second one yet, but on the first one, I'd like to point out that there is such a thing as too much wah pedal.  Also, try to find your own style.  We already had one Jimi Hendrix, and he did a lot better at being Jimi Hendrix than anyone else could.  Other than that, :thumbup:.

(I didn't vote on that site btw).

Track 1.

Vocal hard to hear.
Sounds a tad out of tune.
Your gear needs some tuning.

Track 2.

Starts out interesting.
This one is in tune.
After two minutes of hearing somewhat the same ruff sounding gitar it starts to become boring.
After 4 minutes of play finally some difference. It's still no major improvement since the gitar which started off playing in the beginning still isn't doing much differend.
After the 4 minutes it seems like total chaos.
4:30 minutes of play have passed.. God the sounds starts to get really fucking destorted. I don't like it.
The drummer could use some difference in beat.
First gitar has dissappeared. Remaining minute is very boring, mainly because of the drummer and the extreme bad sound quality.

The first one I didn't like at all, the second one is a bit better.
But your gear really needs to get tuned up.

They are close to being great, I wish I could play like this.

1) Sounds almost like auto-wah on guitar, with too much distortion (wah sounds great with little distortion in my eyes). The guitar is great though, wish it was a little more clear to hear.

2) Drums overtake everything else, I like the riff however. solo guitar is awsome (still a little too distorted in my eyes =b, but thats me).

If you could afford it, a semi-hollow body guitar would sound great, this sounds too much like a heavy distortion band trying to goto classic rock. The guitar needs to be brightened up a bit :smile:. You guys have unlimited potential :laugh:.

I only listened to the song, not to the jam. I liked it. cool guitar sound (inspired by hendrix right?) and nice going wiht the wah. only a little too much wah. I would also put parts in a song without wah.

let me just say that these tracks are mear one man solo versions, i made the drums on reason, and recorded everything very quickly, also the guitar i am using is shot, i have had it for 7 years, and im in the process of getting a new one. But yeah on estrogenic i need to use less wah, and i think i messed up and had the boost turned on  The wah peddle i am using is borrowed and its in horrible  condition. so it sounds distorted, but im getting a new  vox wah that should sound clean as a whistle. Right now im using a JB humbucker, wich i know is not the right sound for my style, but i am getting a beautifull american strat, and that should take care of that...

But thanks guys, im going to keep working on it, and ill get it right soon enough!

oh yeah not to mention im playing through a EPiphone bass amp that is shot, it screams when nothing is plugged in, and i recorded with my moms cheap microphone that came with her kareoke machine...

So i think some new equipment will help out just a tad!

You definitely have a talent.. It needs refining and a bit more structure, but you do some clever stuff. You almost seem to be trying to do too much at once. And as you say, the recording is a bit rough but I can hear promising things in there. Try listening very carefully to some Hendrix, or The Who, and see what they do, and how they structure their songs, how they build up to riffs etc.

Stick at it though, keep writing. I see promise here!

yeah i need to learn song structure, but it will come, it is what i was ment to do, so all i have to do is keep practicing and writing and eveyrthing will come together.
