datura metel question, spiky ball?

#2831818 - 06/26/04 11:16 PM (22 years, 3 months ago)

After the flower dies and withers away, what is that spiky ball that's left? Lately it's been looking like it's splitting into 3 different balls. Thanks

That's the seed pod

If there weren't three flowers, then that's pretty freaky.
