Datura - lucidity
    #2590051 - 04/22/04 08:49 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

hello guys. Ok just a quick question( I couldn't be bothered researching :P).  I have some Datura Metel, Datura Ferox, Datura Inoxia seeds here.
I would just like to know (as I've seen it mentioned hereon these boards) how much should be smoked as to induce lucid dreaming...
I definately don't want to take too much to intoxicate myself

I'd like to know what you guys tried, and recommend which Datura to use.

thanks guys
peace

that would be VERY small amounts of datura stramonium seeds , but this is not a recommendet tool for lucid dreamin its actually a little to non effective one, ive experienced it once on four attempts. i would recommend calea zavatechichi or the australian pi turi bushes (used by the aborigines for over 40000 years) as a tool for lucid dreaming.

datura is a powerful plant and you should show it as much respect as possible terrible things have happened on people on datura.

I have never had lucid dreams from Datura. I think this could of had something to do with the amounts of pot I was smoking at the time though.

Once I ate a small amount, when I started feeling it I went to bed. The next day in school my pupils were huge, I told the teacher I couldnt read the handout so she made me a copy with bigger letters and I acted like I could read it since she went through the trouble. Then later that day i was sleeping with my head down on a desk. I remember it was very vivid, my dream - I was walking around in my astral dream body and things started to pulse with high intensity - me and everything around me. So in my dream I heard/felt the pulsing and walked into this ditch to sit down and calm myself, then I woke up and realized that the way I was sleeping I was cutting off my circulation.

One time I took some and fell asleep. The next morning I reached over to grab the remote to turn off the t.v. The floor didn't feel quite right which startled me into opening my eyes (which I thought were open) and seeing that I wasn't downstairs on my couch at all but rather upstairs in my bed. I then closed my eyes and practiced drawing up various images.

you guys are awesome, thanks!

Yeah I've been doing my research and I'll be getting a Calea soon .
But I was just curious as I have some datura seeds hanging around at the moment, and I'm into lucid dreaming and all.

I've only managed to become lucid only once, that was last year, it was freakin awesome...but I haven't been able to achieve lucidy since.. :<
I decided to sleep on the opposite side of the bed at that time, which could've been part of the success  ;o

Maybe ethnobotanicals are not the answer for lucid dreaming.

don't worry about lucidity, just try to be vivid - and the most important thing is to remember your dreams, that's when things get more vivid. every morning when you wake up write down what you remember. this way takes a while but it works if you stick with it.

Maybe Datura's distinctive smell could be good in a dream pillow? I dunno I never liked the smell of it, smells like evil lol.
