How to leech manure

What is the process of leeching manure? Is it just watering it down? and if so to what degree. Any info is always appreciated.

Hi there. I put my horse-poo in a worn out pillow case and soak it for 12-24 hours before I pasturize it. :tongue2:

The manure I get is old and bone dry, so it has to be rehydrated.

Load manure into a bucket, drop a flower pot on top with a brick tossed in as a weight, fill it with water.

24hrs later, dump it into a larger flower pot to drain for a couple of hours.

Granulate it up by hand to crumbs.

Load to bags so it can be pasteurised.

I think it's best to add some straw to the manure, helps fluff the profile up.
