My trays have been in their cupboard since Sunday. One of them has a small amount of myc poking out already.
The thing is, my pasteurized horse manure substrate has smelled like shit from the beginning. I've read that the Hpoo should be less stinky after the pasteurization process. It's smelled bad since the spawn.
Do I have an issue, other than my grow room door needs to stay shut?
Again, the myc is growing, but damned!

leeching it wont leech out all the nutes..
lets get this down:
plants need nutrition coz they are plants...
fungus needs something to decompose, because they are a secondary decomposer, they do not feed via nutrition.
so leeching does nothing but remove unwanteds like, ammonia, and that awful smell.
Manure shouldn't stink when you use it, it should smell like fresh strong earth.
you shoulda leeched it brah. IT WILL WORK THOUGH.
I've had some of my longest flushing grows come from manure based susbtrate that smelt of asparagus gas, and horse shit farts n sweat.

I'm gonna leach some manure tomorrow for my latest jars. That way I won't have to put up with this gawd awful reek! Damned....

leeching is best done by nature, leaving the manure on a tarp to be rained on, over and over, dry out, be rained on, dry out , be rained on ETC.
I am sure someone covers how to leech manure faster somewhere on these boards.

i went through a bout with my wife over some stinky compost, thank goodness the wretched odor went away after the bags colonized.

it definitely lets up before even that, around 50% u just get a waft here and there, before that though, it's a constant wretched butt odor, kinda what i'd expect a vegans fart to smell like, vegetable gas's

Well, I'm in Arizona so I get all the manure I can eat for free! There's a stable just down the road and they said to help myself. I might just need to find an older pile...
The stable's been there for years and years, so I know they have some older type shit.
I hope I can hunt Wyoming before I kick the bucket!
