homestead mushroom kit or myco bags?

hey all. im wondering if i should get the homestead mushroom kit or some myco bags and a spore syringe. just wondering what would be the best bet.

your best bet if this is your first gow is to get 6 jars, some brown rice flour, and some vermiculite. then get a spore syringe and visit this link: clicky

I first tried to grow with a kit I ordered from the back of a magazine. I was only 15 at the time and the kit had me starting with agar. Far too complicated for a newbie I think. I don't know if there still like that.

I would do jars. The bags will take a long time to colonize. Fill jars up only 50% and they will colonize quickly and you'll shave time off your wait.

ya the homestead kits use agar if you want a challege try it out
agar work is quite a good skill to know
but a total pain in the ass too
go do the good ol 1/2 pint jar PF tek then just go straight to casing grain after a run or two of PF tek
