Quick Question - Changing Default Browser
    #2793403 - 06/15/04 12:15 AM (12 years, 5 months ago)

Hey, I use Earthlink and that has always been my default browser. But for some reason, my computer has started using Internet Explorer as the default browser which is kind of irritating. Does someone know how to fix this? Thank you so much.

Well if you already have those downloaded and IE is still your default browser, then you have to go into windows and change it. You didn't say what operating system it is, so I'll assume XP.

Goto Start -> Programs -> Set program access and defaults (at the very top)

Then goto Custom, and select which browser you want. I suggest firefox.

Good luck!

I use Windows ME. I can't find set program access. Perhaps it's different for ME than XP.
