other stuff in horse poo?

I picked up some composted horse poo from a stable and it looks like there are wood shavings and other stuff, it doesn't even look like clumps. It just looks like beauty bark that people put in flower beds. Do I just paturize it all and use as is?

I don't know. I just asked if I could have some and they said take all you want. It all just looks like tiny dirty bits of straw and wood shavings. Appears like plain top soil but lighter.

This was taken(Fresh) from a stable and has been leached and air dried.

Store bought manure compost is blended wood chips, straw
and horse poo, all blended together, then composted, so no poo
clumps. It still works well, even with woodchips in.
