poo compost?

I went down to my local equestrian center, where they offer a tractor scoop of horse manure compost for only 15$, i took a truckbed full of it. It's got a lot of wood chips and stuff mixed in, and it still generates heat, is it okay to use? I will pasteurize it, and give it a try. But I was just wondering if the already composted or composting horse shit works as well as the non - ala roadkill tek.
thanks in advance.

You may want to let is sit out on a tarp for a week or longer (like in roadkill's tek.) This will help with the ammonia smell, which is actually urine, which is bad for mycelium. My advice: let it dry out, better to wait a week than it is to waste a month of work.

Yep Skikid speaks the truth. That ammonia smell is an indication that the poo is still busy breaking down, so leave it out for a week to air and dry properly. Then it should be perfect. The pices of wood and bits should selectivelly be removed. Don`t be silly but try to remove the bigger chunks.
