This is what I'm concerned about, that a person claiming to be a journalist does the same thing that she rails against. To me this is hypocrisy pure and simple.

Copy and pasting is not exactly journalism, have a Twitter account with 5 followers and a website with plagiarised articles is not what I imagine journalism to be.



Were you actually employed by someone to be a journalist? Or was it all self-published stuff?

Perhaps you quit journalism because you had no credibility as a writer and no readership?

Warrk. That was an anonymous website which me and a couple other people in my life worked on together. That person's comment was read and corrected accordingly infact that information from that timeline doesn't even exist anymore from where we got it from so it's great we used it. It was an indigenous history timeline during Canada's existence.

Why have you made this personal?

For me to prove what you're trying to find out would involve personal information that you really don't have a right to, for anything or any argument.

I apologize for doing whatever caused this to happen. I didn't realize it was personal to you. And I feel kinda stupid now not knowing since you were willing to bet your money. It should've clicked then, but it didn't for me.

It is when all's said and done, still a drug users forum.

It's understandable that there would be a natural background level of anti-authority among us, so when the authorities, which have spent our entire lifetimes telling us what we cannot put in our bodies, on pain of extreme repression via courts and prison etc...it goes without saying their will be a lot of 'blowback' and a tendency to tell them to fuck off, when they then demand you put something into it.

The crux of the issue is you have a gaggle of "geniuses" denying proven drugs and promoting ones that aren't. It's like koods wants us to take RCs and everyone else is like, "Yeah well maybe shrooms work bro." And they're like "That's an off-label prescription lololol ur dum." You have those same people trying to shut down any dissenting opinions so they can post what's in the news.

You have those same people forming their opinions in the same way everyone else except thwy choose to condescend. Yeah I don't work in a hospital. That's real sad. Starving children in Africa is probably real sad to the people watching it day by day. I've only seen one member up in arms about that(you know who you are:tongue:). So when I say many of us haven't even seen this endemic yet it's the same as y'all not giving a shit about starving children in Africa. Something you do every day and don't do shit about it.

It's the condescension that's caused the arguments. It's the gatekeeping of facts. Everyone is fucking frustrated but acting like we all have a more important sense of frustration and action than the next person is just asinine and self important. I've been saying everyone has been looking like morons over this shit for 2 years and I stand by that. We are all right but we'd rather yell that at eachother than come to a mutual conclusion that is worth discussing.

We were cool, then you had to start being all the things you claim I am: a coward, (only someone deeply and possibly subconsciously lacking in self-confidence would lash out at the slightest perceived insult like you have) and arrogant, (you refuse to even consider the possibility that you might be wrong about things: no, the world is EXACTLY as you see it and no one else's perception is truer than yours). I don't think there's anything else to be said here. This thread has devolved to garbage and personal attacks (I'm not excluding myself here) and I see that I initially made the correct call a few weeks ago in leaving it. This thread and the vaccination issue in general has been responsible for several friends and I parting ways and frankly it makes me fucking sick to my stomach.

It's just one more thing to divide us. The deeper I scratch the surface on some people the more I wish I hadn't. People that you think are cool turn out to not be cool at all, and I'm sure the feeling is mutual. Fuck everyone, including me. And JSB, don't you ever call me a fucking coward again. You stay in your lane and I'll stay in mine.



Fuck this thread. Asante, if it's possible to just ban someone from one thread in particular, would you mind banning me from this COVID thread? I keep coming into here looking for updates and information (which is what the thread should be about) but it keeps devolving into bullshit.
